Jung Chae Yeon, or Chaeyeon, hailing from Suncheon in South Jeolla Province, is a versatile South Korean artist. She’s not just a singer but also a talented actress. Before her acting career took off, she was part of MBK Entertainment’s girl group DIA(Do It Amazing), where she even dabbled in songwriting and composing.
Chaeyeon, a graduate of the Department of Broadcasting at the School of Performing Arts Seoul, continued her idol journey by participating in Mnet’s “Produce 101.” She ranked 7th out of 101 contestants, securing her spot in the beloved girl group I.O.I. In 2022, she signed an exclusive contract with BH Entertainment, expanding her horizons.
