HeeJin, the trailblazing member of LOONA, captured the spotlight with her debut in September 2016. Not only did she shine as a solo artist with her single album “HeeJin,” but she also showcased her versatility by being part of the sub-unit LOONA 1/3 and the intriguing project group ARTMS.
However, it hasn’t all been smooth sailing. HeeJin and most of her fellow LOONA members took a bold step by filing a lawsuit to suspend their contracts with BlockBerryCreative, citing damage to their trust. This legal battle ended with a victory, as the Seoul Northern District Court ruled in favor of HeeJin and several others in early 2023.
