Chris Töpperwien was featured in the docu-soap “Goodbye Germany! The Emigrants” because he tried to conquer America with a Currywurst truck. In 2019, however, Bastian Yotta, fellow candidate at the jungle camp, raised doubts that Chris had become a millionaire with his company. In fact, the restaurateur is said to have only owned two of his food trucks at the time, where there used to be 14.
After all, Chris can still make money from his appearances on reality TV. For example, he is said to have pocketed between 40,000 and 60,000 euros for participating in the jungle camp in 2019. Anyone who hangs around on the emigrant’s Instagram channel will see that he is now advertising his own glasses and glass cleaning cloths. They are actually sold out on “Amazon”.
