In 2001, Ben Stiller starred as ‘Derek Zoolander’ in the hilarious comedy “Zoolander.” His character was hardly the most intelligent person in the room (and we mean any room!), but one of his funniest silly moments was never part of the script and resulted from an honest mistake made by Stiller.
While the line “Why male models?” was in the original script, ‘Zoolander’ wasn’t supposed to say it twice. It only happened because Stiller forgot his line and panicked! Interestingly enough, the mistake worked like a charm in the context, especially considering it was perfectly consistent with the nature of ‘Zoolander.’
