Playing With Rope
Besides being entertained by some rather mundane things, boys also have a penchant for being able to get up to mischieve with a simple object. The person telling the next story is a prime example of that happening. In this instant, the object providing entertainment is a rope.
The storyteller says that he and his brother would tie the rope to each other and then run in opposite directions. But the main attraction was then trying to bungee jump from a tree, using regular rope, instead of a bungee cord which absorbs the shock and is more flexible than regular rope. The storyteller says it hurt badly when he did that.
