María Isabel Preysler Arrastia, is a Hispanic-Filipino “socialite” of the high society of great popularity in the Spanish tabloids. She is the mother of the singers Enrique Iglesias and Julio Iglesias, Jr., and also of Chábeli Iglesias, the result of her marriage to the singer Julio Iglesias; Tamara Falcó, the result of her marriage to the aristocrat Carlos Falcó, Marquis of Griñón and Marquis of Castel-Moncayo; and Ana Isabel Boyer, the result of her marriage to the physicist and economist Miguel Boyer, former Minister of Finance of Spain, with whom she remained married until his death in 2014. Since 2015 she has been in a relationship with the Peruvian writer and Nobel Prize for Literature Mario Vargas Llosa.
