Here’s Why Beyoncé, Katy Perry, and 42 Other Celebrities Were Banned From These Countries
Lamb of God – Malaysia
It just takes one metalhead buddy to discover that, despite their violent music, extreme-rock performers and fans are among the kindest and loving individuals you will ever meet. In 2013, Lamb of God was expected to perform in a Kuala Lumpur concert hall. But the Malaysian ministry of communications and multimedia claimed it wouldn’t provide a permit because the show might offend the country’s religious and cultural sensibilities.
Fans in Malaysia will never have the opportunity to see this rock band live, despite being a global sensation. Their songs with titles like “A Devil in God’s Country” and “The Anti-Christ” certainly didn’t help ease the local government’s mind either.
