Who would have thought that the woman who played the over-enthused scientist in “Jurassic Park” who stuck her hand in dino poo would become an Oscar winner? Well, that’s exactly what happened with Laura Dern when she won a statuette in 2020 for her role in 2020’s “Marriage Story.”
Her Jurassic Park character not only loved her work but also wanted children. She had to wait a while for that in real life too, with her eldest child, a son named Ellery Walker, born in 2001, and the younger, a daughter named Jaya, born in 2004. She also had a voice role in the animated series “F Is for Family” in 2021.
