Much has changed from the time that Valerie Bertinelli gained fame for her role in the series “One Day At A Time:” She divorced Eddie Van Halen, gained weight, then lost it thanks to following the Jenny Craig method for her weight loss. After dropping the pounds, she decided to put her nutritional knowledge to good use.

After she finished starring in the series “Hot in Cleveland,” Bertinelli moved from acting to presenting, after earning not one but two new shows on Food Network: one called “Valerie’s Home Cooking,” and another called “Kids Baking Championship.” She won two Daytime Emmys for the former, and in 2021 returned to helm both shows.
