The Wild Thornberrys – 1998
“The Wild Thornberrys” was a 1998 American animated comedy-adventure film based on the Nickelodeon television series of the same name. The film followed Eliza Thornberry, a young girl who could talk to animals, as she traveled to Africa with her family. While there, she discovered poachers planned to kill an elephant herd.
Eliza had to use her unique ability to help the elephants and save them from danger. The movie was a commercial success, grossing over $100 million worldwide. It was also nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film.
