Sonic the Hedgehog – 1993

The 1993 animated television series “Sonic the Hedgehog” was a light-hearted and gag-driven adventure series based on the titular character Sonic the Hedgehog, a teenage hedgehog with the power to move at supersonic speeds. The series followed Sonic and his friend Tails, who regularly opposed the main antagonist Dr. Robotnik.

The show went mainstream, spawning two seasons and 65 episodes. It was also notable for using PSA segments at the end of each episode, which taught viewers about important topics such as safety, environmentalism, and drug abuse prevention.
