Being in the food and hospitality industry is no joke. It could take a lot of energy and interpersonal skills to make it through a day. Most of the time, you would also need the assurance of the company to survive daily musings. However, a Chipotle manager, Jeanette Ortiz, centered on a different incident when the restaurant itself turned on her.
Specifically, she was fired in 2015 after she was accused of stealing $626 that the company claimed was recorded on CCTV. However, Ortiz filed a wrongful termination suit and was awarded almost $8 million after it was found that she was framed.
