The abduction of a minor must never be taken lightly. So when a woman alerted authorities that her three-year-old daughter was taken by a kidnapper who boarded the train, officials were quick to check the CCTV and confirmed that the suspect had indeed fled by riding the subway. Instead of stopping at the next station, it was made to run from Lalitpur to Bhopal.
According to India Today, the train ran for 240 kilometers before it stopped at Bhopal where police were already waiting. As it turned out, the suspect was the kid’s father, and authorities had a hunch that the mother already knew that it was her husband.
