Perhaps on this side of the world, they don’t have The Peddler to stop bike theft so owners take it upon themselves to find their lost belongings. Just look at this note left by someone who stole their stolen vehicle! What can we say, sometimes we need to take matters into our own hands to get the justice we deserve.
Bike theft is quite common in the United States. According to the FBI Uniform Crime Report as cited by Markel Insurance, there were an estimated 188,500 reports of stolen bikes on average every year. Of course, the number is expected to be higher due to the unreported cases.
