Journalism Fails: Some Instances Where TV Anchors Made the Headlines for More Than Their Work

Knocked Out by Snow

Versatile journalists like Steve Keeley are an asset to any network. And when he joined Fox 29 News in 2002 as a general assignment reporter, he knew what he was getting himself into. Still, he couldn’t have predicted the job would come with mishaps like this.

On March 3, 2014, Keeley was covering a snowstorm in South Jersey. Unfortunately, one snowplow driver was speeding past and sent a sheet of snow over the reporter. Of course, seconds later, he continued with the broadcast. Nothing would discourage Keeley from giving viewers an update, not even a heap of snow that knocks him off his feet.
