Matthew Broderick – Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
Matthew Broderick kickstarted his acting career during the early ’80s after he partook in several theater productions. His debut in theater and off-Broadways earned him a film debut in “Max Dugan Returns” with a relatively minor role. With a few productions under his belt, the Manhattan, New York native was ready to dazzle audiences with his performances in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” “WarGames,” and “Glory.”
By the ’90s, Broderick was already a familiar name in films and had several blockbusters behind him. In 2021, he teamed up with his wife Sarah Jessica Parker and director John Benjamin Hickey for their Broadway show “Plaza Suite” at the Hudson Theatre.
