During the ’80s, we all fell in love with Michael J. Fox as he played the part of a young Marty McFly in “Back to the Future” and its sequels. However, before landing the iconic role in 1985, he had managed to impress director Robert Zemeckis with his performances as Alex P. Keaton in “Family Ties,” a show he joined in 1982.
The Canadian American actor has focused most of his time and efforts on philanthropic activities in recent years. In 2021, he marked a milestone in his humanitarian endeavors when his charity foundation raised over $1 billion to fight against Parkinson’s Disease.
