Santiago Segura is a Spanish film actor who also has an important career as a director, with films that quickly became cult favorites, such as the entire Torrente saga, The Dumb Arm of the Law . Santiago is known for his incredible ability to gain and lose weight. He did this for all five Torrente films, gaining over 40 kilos and losing them as if it were nothing. He does this because he’s an actor committed to his character, and if the character is a few pounds overweight, he’ll gain a few pounds too much.
