Emma Thompson, an accomplished actress/comedian/producer and scriptwriter, was born in 1959 in London to an acting couple. The actress with numerous awards like the Primetime Emmys, Golden Globes, and Academy Awards to her name starred in numerous films like “Beauty and the Beast,” “Men In Black: International,” and the “Harry Potter” film franchise.
Thompson wrote the “The Further Tale of Peter Rabbit” in 2012. She has been married twice, and the second time was to co-actor Greg Wise. The actress and her husband were sworn in as honorary citizens of Italy in February 2020.
