Charlene White may not have been one of the most popular TV presenters in the past, but she is fast shaking up the industry in the 21st century. After about two decades of building up her portfolio working with the TV networks BBC and ITN, she began a role as an anchor on “Loose Women” in 2021.
Her stints in ITV led to her record achievement of becoming the first black female presenter of “ITV News at Ten.” As a testament to her career success, in 2020 and 2021, she was listed among the Top 100 influential people in the UK of African or African-Caribbean descent.
