Carey Mulligan
Carey Mulligan, born in 1985, made her acting debut with “Forty Winks” in 2004 on a theater stage. Her film debut was in “Pride and Prejudice” in 2005 and kept rising to fame with popular roles in “Bleak House” and “Northanger Abbey.” She later made her Broadway debut in 2008 with “The Seagull” and bagged an Ian Charleson Commendation Award.
Mulligan married the lead singer of Mumford and Sons, Marcus Mumford in 2012, and they share two children together. She has been active in philanthropy alongside acting and raises awareness around Alzheimer’s. She has recently been addressing the industry’s institutionalized inequality.
