This lady would have gotten away with it if not for Instagram’s pesky tag feature. The story is that she got tagged in a photo from an expo she attended. Instead of reposting it, as most other people do, she decided to give herself a tinier waist, slimmer face, bigger eyes, and a paler skin tone.
She posted the edited photo and possibly got plenty of likes and comments. That was until one of her followers, or the person who originally tagged her in the actual photo, figured out what she’d done and let the cat out of the bag. Yet again, it’s pretty sad because she never needed to edit anything at all.
