Fans know her for hits like Woman in Love, Happy Days Are Here Again, and Memory, as well as movies like The Way We Were, Funny Girl, and Yentl. As such, it’s hard to believe that industry heavyweight Barbra Streisand is suffering from stage fright even though she is commercially successful.
Even at 79, however, Streisand continues to stay active in the scene. The Academy winner, who will release a memoir soon, may be considered one of the most enduring singers of her generation, but she recently declined a biopic – at least while she is alive.
