Remember These Famous Musicians? Here’s What They’ve Been Up To
Yoko Ono, 88
Japanese artist Yoko Ono may go down in history as the widow of John Lennon, The Beatles member who was fatally shot in 1980, but she is accomplished in her own doings, too. She has made a name for herself in the art community but has used her voice to champion several causes outside this field.
On top of advocating global peace, Ono also recently worked on addressing world hunger through the organization called WhyHunger. These days, the 88-year-old’s artwork titled Mend Piece is currently at an exhibit in London’s Whitechapel Gallery.
