David Gilmour, 75
Although the progressive rock band Pink Floyd had achieved massive success during its heyday, its frontman, David Gilmour, is also enjoying a lasting solo career. These days, however, the musician is on a teamup with his wife, Polly Samson, who recently released a novel titled A Theater for Dreamers.
While on a break in recording music, Gilmour helped his wife research for the book. The musician has also served as the producer and editor for the audio version of Samson’s masterpiece. On top of this, the 75-year-old is working on his solo album and the reissue of Animals album.
