In “The Falcon and the Winter Solider,” Anthony Mackie’s character Sam Wilson became the second Captain America. Mackie will now reprise the role in “Captain America: New World Order” set to release in 2024. He has previously appeared in Marvel films like “Avengers: Endgame,” “Captain America: Civil War” and “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”
The Julliard alum has a resume full of critically acclaimed performances that include “8 Mile,” “Brother to Brother,” and “Million Dollar Baby.” He starred in the second season of “Altered Carbon” in 2020 and the fifth season of “Black Mirror.” In 2022, Mackie purchased the 20-acre property as he plans to start producing films and content with his production company East Studio LLC.
