Jay-Z – $1.4 Billion

Even in a year with no album release or sold-out tours, hip hop star Jay-Z still managed to make millions. Not only did the Empire State of Mind rapper manage to sell half of his champagned brand, Armand de Brignac, to LVMH, he also sold a majority stake of Tidal to Square.

According to Forbes, the former of the two deals valued Jay-Z’s liquor company at $640 million, and the two transactions saw his personal fortune jump by 40% to $1.4 billion. As the power couple of music, Beyoncé and Jay-Z have splurged their billions on a private island, a private jet, and an $88 million compound in Bel-Air.

SZA – $3 Million

SZA, born Solána Imani Rowe, has been a breath of fresh air in the R&B scene with her refreshingly warm and honest music. In July, the Good Days singer gave fans a much-needed taster of her much-anticipated sophomore album during a unique virtual performance streamed worldwide.

Despite being a relative newcomer on the scene, having made music professionally since 2010, SZA has done pretty well for herself financially. She even owns a beautiful yet modestly-proportioned home in Los Angeles, California. Since her 2013 signing with Top Dawg Entertainment, SZA has earned nine Grammy nominations and performed with icons like Beyoncé and Post Malone.

Richard Colson Baker, famous for his stage name Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), has been cozying up to his significant other, Megan Fox, since May 2020. Their romance bloomed after Fox starred in his “Bloody Valentine” music video, and since then, the media couldn’t get enough of them.
