It looks like the Obamas have taken a liking for Washington D.C. Following the end of his second term in 2017, Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama put down roots in the nation’s capital and bought an $8.1 million home located in the affluent neighborhood of Kalorama.
The 44th president of the United States, who co-hosted the podcast “Renegades: Born In The USA” in 2021, initially rented the 8,200-square-foot house. These days though, he’s free to enjoy the nine-bedroom home and its amenities to his heart’s content. Photos of the residence show that it has its own gym and a finished basement.
