But the health claim is untrue. Manufacturers add sugar or artificial ingredients to ensure this flavor explosion, making the sauces calorific. Some options to make the salad more attractive are avocado and nut oils. Homemade dressings are easy to make in an empty glass jar by shaking oil, vinegar, and seasoning.
