Ruined 16th Century Church’s Lifetime Transformation

Can you imagine turning an abandoned church into a three-bedroom home? Not an easy task, we must say. That is what photographer Tas Careaga did, working with architect Carlos Garmendia. It took them three years to complete the project.

The house has a two-story loft outfitted for the master bedroom, while another bedroom is in the bell tower. The two extraordinary gentlemen perfectly blended the old church’s architecture with modern interior design.
