CCD’s 50% Cloud Artists Lounge Restaurant
Imagine building a structure without a single nail or steel bar. Is it even possible? That is what the “utopia” building 50% Cloud is all about. This is a restaurant designed and built by the artist Luo Xu. He adhered to the red-brick architectural design language’s intricacies and subtly integrated the Art Deco style to maintain the lounge’s unique identity.
The CCD team followed the natural light and skylights to arrange the elements, which feature curved contours, solid facades, and highly placed volumes. This way, natural light illuminates the place, creating a diversified spatial experience.
