Who is Neubauer?
Peter B. Neubauer was born an Austrian Jew. He was one of the few who were able to escape the terror of the Nazis and build a life elsewhere. His close proximity to Anna Freud in his work influenced him greatly. Unfortunately for the twins, Neubauer went to live in New York in the 40s and began working there in a well-established hospital as a child psychiatrist.
He was a huge advocate against children’s exposure to violence in digital media. However, hypocritically, he neglected to consider the ramification his own work would have on young minds.
