Tony Jones – $355K
Starting his career as a reporter in the ’80s, Tony Jones worked his way up over the next decades to reach his post as one of ABC’s top news presenters. In 2013, the website News.com.au reported that he emerged as the network’s top earner bringing home about $355K a year.
That figure has likely changed since, though, as Jones left the “Q&A” post in 2019. Following that, he kept busy with new endeavors, including the documentary series “Revelation.” He worked on the project with his wife Sarah Ferguson, who’s also a renowned ABC journalist.
