Samantha Armytage – $500K
After over two decades in broadcasting, Samantha Armytage announced that she was leaving her post on the breakfast show “Sunrise” in 2021. Saying her farewells on-air, she shared that she was stepping out of the public spotlight to spend more time with her family and enjoy a life lived slowly.
We could only imagine how tough that decision was for Armytage! Aside from journalism being her life’s work, it was likely hard to walk away from the $500K a year she received from the Seven Network. On the bright side, her departure allowed her to focus on her podcast “Something To Talk About,” available on both Apple and Spotify streaming services.
