Denzel Washington – Basketball
American actor Denzel Hayes Washington Jr. has some awe-inspiring performances both onscreen and onstage. However, very few people know of his talent on the basketball court. He played for the Fordham University team, and his teammates say he was an excellent defensive player.
His liking of the sport was probably why he got a role in the 1998 basketball-themed film titled “He Got Game.” He has won two Oscars out of ten nominations, and the latest nomination came in 2022 for the feature “The Tragedy of Macbeth,” released in 2021. Washington has been happily married to Pauletta Pearson since 1983.
