These Celebrities Were Quite the Athletes Back in The Day
Tommy Lee Jones – Offensive Guard
Not many people we’d witness have excelled at multiple talents, like actor Tommy Lee Jones, born in 1946. He was efficient at studies, sports, and acting. He graduated in English from Harvard University and played guard on their undefeated 1968 football team.
But that wasn’t what he wanted to do for a living, and he soon moved to New York and the same year got his Broadway debut in “A Patriot for Me.” The following year, he landed his first ever movie lead in the feature “Love Story.” Jones still works today and appeared in the 2021 documentary series “American Masters.”
