Geena Davis – Archer
Geena Davis, the star of the 1991 drama “Thelma & Louise,” is another one of those who do well in whatever they attempt. In July 1999, she competed in a semi-finals birth in the U.S. Olympics archery team for the Sydney games. She ranked 24th among them, which is quite the achievement.
The same year, she participated in the Sydney International Golden Arrow competition. According to a New York Times report, she was not an athlete growing up but instead started archery only in 1997. On a 2022 episode of the podcast “All Inclusive,” the Oscar-winner speaks of her journey in the film industry.
