These Celebrities Were Quite the Athletes Back in The Day
Ellen DeGeneres – Tennis
The host of the popular TV program “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” is fond of tennis. She played the sport on her high school varsity team in Atlanta and frequently spoke about it on air. She’s even participated in celebrity tournaments such as the 2010 U.S. Open.
The superstar started up as a standup comedian in the ’80s. Fast forward to 2018, she did a standup special for Netflix. She’d also done a handful of movies, including voicing Dory on the 2003 animated film “Finding Nemo.” As of June 2022, she’s working on the 19th season of her talk show, having released over 3,000 episodes.
