While Will Ferrell followed a script for his soccer-based movie “Kicking and Screaming,” he could’ve probably managed without it as well. Yes, the “Blades of Glory” actor is a true soccer fan. So much so that he owns a share in his hometown soccer team, Los Angeles FC.
His connection to the sport dates back to his younger days when he was still a high schooler. But that’s not all; he played basketball and was the captain of his university’s team. In 2022, he was the executive producer for the third consecutive season of the TV show “Motherland: Fort Salem.”
