Dame Maggie Smith has been in the entertainment industry for so long that people of pretty much every generation knows who she is. For instance, the older generations may know her from Private Lives and A Room with a View, whereas youngsters would know her for playing Professor Minerva McGonagall in the Harry Potter films.
