Kristy McNichol’s first significant role came in the TV series “Apple’s Way,” in which she played Patricia Apple. Since then, she has appeared in over 30 titles and even produced one of them, “Mother of the Bride.” She even did the soundtrack for four TV shows, including two songs for “Empty Nest.”
Although McNichol announced her retirement in 2001, she never lost the flare and revived her work in 2012 with a comedy short alongside her brother Jimmy based on the latest soda ban in New York. In her career, she won two Emmys for portraying Buddy Lawrence in the drama series “Family.”
