Karen Grassle, 79, Born in 1942 – Little House on the Prairie
Karen Grassle was relatively an unknown actress when she was paired opposite Michael Landon in the 1970s show Little House on the Prairie. But she became so loved that she was referred to as the nation’s ‘Ma’ by most kids. Unfortunately, after the show was over, she refused to take part in a spin-off and focused on theater.
Grassle founded a theater company in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and was involved in the Driving Miss Daisy tour in 2007. Nowadays, the 79-year-old is said to be in the San Francisco Bay Area and has been working with the local theater company.
