FRANCOIS FABIAN

Born in 1933 in Algiers, Françoise Fabian left for Paris at the age of 18 to join the Conservatory of Dramatic Art. Attracted by the cinema, she chained small roles for 10 years until Luis Bunuel offered her the chance to play in “Belle de jour”. Then, it was her role in “Ma nuit chez Maud”, released in 1969, which propelled her to the rank of confirmed actress. She also dabbled in comedy, especially from the 2000s, in films like “LOL” and “The first name”. Even at her age, Françoise Fabian does not think about retirement. She is even present in the film entitled “Rose” by Aurélie Saada in 2021 and in the theater “Amours” by Isabelle Le Nouvel in 2022.
