There is hardly any writer richer than the Queen of England, not Joanne Rowling, though. Popularly known as J.K. Rowling, she has made a name for herself as one of the most successful writers and film producers. The Harry Potter book and film franchise is the brainchild of Rowling and her claim to fame.
While her net worth is rumored to be £747 million, Rowling has refuted the claim. Not one to rest on her laurels, she keeps releasing other books, including the 2021 released fairy tale “Christmas Pig.” According to Forbes, she earns £44.8 million yearly.
