According to Gil Junger, the “10 Things I Hate About You” director, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Julia Stiles were already crazy about each other on set. During the high school comedy production, the two reportedly began dating in secret, albeit only for a brief period.
Although neither Gordon-Levitt nor Stiles have confirmed the reports of their romance, the latter did comment on the production of the cult classic as one of the most exciting times of her young life. After a cameo in 2017’s “The Last Jedi,” Gordon-Levitt returned to the Star Wars franchise in 2021 with a much more prominent role in “Star Wars: Visions.”
