Nina Hagen is known in Germany as the “Punk Godmother” and manages to make punk mainstream in what was then a rather monochromatic Germany. The singer convinced at a young age with her unique appearance and extravagant demeanor. Even though there are many critics, most of her remain rather unaffected and still like her idiosyncratic performances to this day. She is still active today and continues to shape the international stage with her sharp personality. Regardless of her age, she’s still so energetic and still makes punk incredibly alive!
