Nina Hagen – born 1955
Nina Hagen is known in Germany as the “Punk Godmother” and managed to make punk mainstream in what was then a rather monochromatic Germany. The singer impressed people at a young age with her unique looks and extravagant appearance. Even though there are many critics, most remain rather unmoved by her and still like her idiosyncratic performances. She is still active today and still shapes the international stage with her sharp personality. Regardless of her age, she is still so full of energy and still makes punk incredibly alive!
