Thea Gottschalk – born 1946
Thea Gottschalk first became known as the wife of Thomas Gottschalk. Thea Hauer was born in Burglengenfeld at the end of the Second World War. In 1972, she met the radio presenter Thomas Gottschalk at a doctors’ ball during the Munich carnival, whom she married on November 11, 1976. In 1982, she became a mother and in 1989 the couple adopted a young son. They eventually lived in a house in Malibu, California. The two separated in 2019. Thea Gottschalk avoided the public eye, but was conspicuous on high-profile dates and, despite her media shyness, became a well-known tabloid figure in Germany.
