Kirk Douglas enjoyed decades of success as an actor in Hollywood, and some of his most memorable performances were in movies like Detective Story and Champion. He worked so hard that he got to afford to invest in a vacation home in Palm Springs.
It was in a peaceful community, and he most definitely enjoyed his backyard pool during the summer. He sold the place in the ‘90s, and its most recent owners reportedly acquired it for about $3.5 million. Douglas undoubtedly lived a long life because he was already 103 when he died in 2020.
