Every Woman Has a Story to Tell
Sadly, many women in sports have a similar story to tell. Paige believes that if she were a guy with a similar social following or such a level of self-confidence, she wouldn’t receive this much criticism. Instead, people would only praise her for being a ‘boss’ and a go-getter.
But because her physical fitness and style don’t fit the mold, people have accused her of being a publicity gimmick. That is an insult to all her years of training and the work she’s done for her community. And the fact that many women face this level of discrimination doesn’t make it right.
